This experiment is to create a magic bubble potion. It’s chemistry! When baking soda (a base) and vinegar (an acid) are mixed together then the reaction creates carbon dioxide gas. The carbon dioxide gas escapes, and that gas forms the bubbles that we can see coming out of the potion. The food coloring and detergent helps us see the bubbles a little better.
