Love & Gratitude: As we prepare to celebrate our beloved Mawlana Hazar Imam's birthday, The Ismaili is pleased to present our Love & Gratitude video series, which reminds us of the Imam's immense love for his Jamat and the countless reasons why we offer our shukrana to the Imam. Throughout his Imamat, Mawlana Hazar Imam has stressed the importance of building peaceful societies around the world. He has emphasised that conflicts should be resolved within the ethics of our faith, through dialogue, compassion, tolerance, generosity, and forgiveness, and not through violence. In order to advance peace in the world, Hazar Imam’s institutions have worked to assist developing societies become more stable, pluralistic, and forward-looking. We thank our beloved Imam for all he has done to make our world a more peaceful place, and we offer prayers for all the people of the world who are living in situations of conflict for the easing of their difficulties and an end to violence around the world.

A The Ismaili TV production, this film tells the story of a diverse group of individuals and their interpretations of this epic 12th-century Sufi poem, each seeking to understand its relevance to the challenges of our modern age. Drawing on the Talim Primary Four Book - a Fountain of Stories, the film focuses on the first part of the journey and draws parallels with the role of Mawlana Hazar Imam as our Guiding Light. The stories feature actors from the global Jamat and are interspersed with moving recitations of Ismaili devotional literature (Ginans and Qasidas) and beautiful visual animations.

Covering her life from Navroz 2020 to Navroz 2021, the film uses music and poetry to explore her physical and mental health, touching on the initial isolation, fear, and anxiety, and moving on to coping skills, hope, and connection through family and community. Over the span of a few months, comical conversations with her family and “slice of life” scenes reveal different aspects of her life. Hope Springs Eternal is an inspirational and educational program that explores the meaning and history of Navroz, touching on the diverse ways in which the festival is celebrated in different parts of the world and the significance of the Haft Seen and rozi. The show focuses on messages of rebirth, rejuvenation, and hope for the future, particularly as we can begin to imagine our lives beyond the pandemic. It incorporates verses of the Qur’an, quotes from Mawlana Hazar Imam, and devotional poetry from the Persian, Arabic, and South Asian traditions.
