My film is about caring for our planet by taking care of oceans and marine life. In this movie I have used Legos and some other probs to create a stop motion film. My film focuses on zero use of plastic and recycling.
During pandemic, my mom registered me for many different online classes and one of them was filmmaking which I really enjoyed. Therefore, I continued making short films by using my soft Toys and Legos. This inspired me to create a new movie for USIA.
To say that plastic waste is choking our oceans would not be an exaggeration. Plastic waste can take up to 500 years to decompose. So there’s a good chance that all the plastic we’ve ever thrown away is still around. Our oceans are slowly turning into a plastic soup.

While one plastic bottle may not be enough to affect marine life, millions of them certainly are. Discarded plastic fishing lines entangle turtles and seabirds, and plastic pieces of all sizes choke and clog the stomachs of creatures who mistake it for food, from tiny zooplankton to whales. Plastic is now entering every level of the ocean food chain and is even ending up in the seafood on our plates. As beach crowds increase, so does the amount of trash left behind or blown away. Don’t let your day outside contribute to the destruction of our oceans. Remember to leave nothing behind but your footprints; collect and dispose all of your trash. Together, we can do better.
