As Caliph and Imam, Hazrat Ali exemplified a notion of justice that became a model of Muslim leadership, centered on the ethics of Islam. He believed a person’s ability to act justly was intimately connected to their relationship to God and orientation towards the divine spirit.
Yaum‐e-Ali, Day of Ali, commemorates the birthday of Hazrat Ali, the cousin and son-in-law of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), and who is the first Imam, in accordance with the Shia tradition of Islam. We celebrate this day with a talk with our scholars, discussing the life of Hazrat Ali.
