Aga Khan University | Women in Science and Global Health | Webinar | 11 Feburary 2021

Health outcomes are defined by many factors. Amongst them, biological considerations have an obvious impact, but it is also imperative to understand gender-sensitive analyses of socioeconomic, political, and environmental concerns. In addition, evidence shows that roles and relationships based on male and female status, #gender identification, values, and behaviours all influence the health outcomes of individuals and societies. On November 25, 2020, the #AgaKhan University (@Aga Khan University) hosted a webinar to explore these topics, bringing together female leaders who talked about their work, its impact on global health, and its relationship to driving gender equity. Today, #AKDN is releasing the webinar on its channels to help commemorate the #InternationalDayofWomenandGirlsinScience.
